By 2:00 tomorrow afternoon I should be in Ireland. Cousin Marian Parady's daughter Mary is travelling with me. We will go first to the Shrine of Our Lady of Knock in County Mayo. After a few days there, we will make our way to "lovely Leitrim" to visit with Cousin John McKeon. Are there any Irish readers of Vultus Christi?

Safe travel, Father.

Fr. Mark, I declare myself to be a) an Irish citizen, living in Belfast, b) a daily reader of your beautiful blog. and c) (and this is a surprise I bet) a sister of a Redemptorist who resides about 25 mins walking distance from where you live in Roma! Is that not a coincidence? Please pray for me when at Knock. I travelled there a few years back on a Christian Brother Pilgrimage and I know of many who make the pilgrimage faithfully each year. I hope you have a wonderful time in Ireland, and the road will rise to meet you and the weather in lovely Leitrim will be kind to you and your family circle.

God go with you, Father!

Hi Father Mark ive just come across your site and i think its really nice. I live close to Knock myself its a really nice place. I hope you enjoy your visit.

I hope that you have a successful trip in Ireland, the place whose vibrant Christianity saved all of Europe from barbarism. Looking at this picture, I only wish I were there, but alas only am a descendant of Ireland living in the US. God bless you.
