Our first full day of common life in the embryonic Monastery of Our Lady of the Cenacle unfolded under the loving gaze of Our Lady of the Rosary. Brothers Diego and Carl are entering wholeheartedly into what is, for them, a whole new world. In the afternoon we made a pilgrimage to the land on which, God willing, we will build the monastery. There we chanted None in the open air and prayed the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary, taking care to leave behind a blessed medal of Saint Benedict and, buried in the ground, medals of the Holy Face, of Jesus, King of Love, of the Immaculate Conception, and of Our Lady of Knock.

In the afternoon a a friend of the monastery arrived with two large boxes of food. We are grateful to Greg and to all who have shown us so much kindness during this period of preparation and adjustment.

Welcome to the new Brothers. How wonderful to begin your monastic life together on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. You will find the joy of it; the sorrow of it; the luminosity; and certainly, the glory before the Eucharistic Face of Christ.

Happy to hear all the good news.
